The West, the Group of Eight, Nato and the EU, or whatever name the so-called civilised world uses these days, have again failed to learn from the lessons of the past. As Muammar Gaddafi’s armed forces use their military might − with modern weaponry and air support supplied with the courtesy of the western world – to attack his poorly armed opponents, the killing and maiming of innocent people goes on while all the civilised world does is talk, talk and talk more.

This is a repeat performance of the Balkans war when thousands of innocent people were massacred and it took the West months of “talking” before deciding to take action.

The West will eventually justify their non-action by spending years searching for the “culprits” and then putting them on a show trial at The Hague to justify all their talking and non-action!

The threat to take the culprits to court does not do anything at all for the innocent dead!

Shame on all those who are doing “all the talking” while innocent Libyan people are being slaughtered!
