'Wildlife and Habitats of the Maltese Islands' is the title of an intermediate-level course that the Institute for Environmental Studies (IES), Mosta, is organising during November 17 - 26. The course aims to strengthen participants' knowledge of land animals and plants in the Maltese islands and their natural habitats.

Topics include issues concerning the conservation and protection of our natural heritage and aspects of the biology of plants, invertebrates and vertebrates, including birds. Lectures will be delivered by leading experts and will be supplemented with notes.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to participants who complete the course.
