It pains me to read harsh words of criticism against our beloved Archbishop, Mgr Paul Cremona. He is truly a man of God, enriched with a fervent vocation.

I feel that if the Church in Malta urgently needs better administration, then it should examine the situation internally. It should conscientiously undergo a new infusion and change key offices which, perhaps, have been occupied by the same persons for so much time, possibly even before the present archbishop took office.

I suspect there could be some who would find it hard to relinquish their posts, in spite of their age and time in office.

It is easy to pick on one person, especially if such person is a most humble being who would not fight back to publicly defend himself or discuss internal problems that are being encountered and which urgently require remedial action.
