I refer to an article entitled ‘Violence against women: an EU concern’ (June 14).

The article speaks almost entirely about preventing and combating gender-based violence against women, girls, women with disabilities and migrant women.

After reading the article, I immediately noticed that the writers were selective and, therefore, biased, because they totally ignored the use of violence followed by the ruthless killing of millions of innocent human life (both males and females) by women who seek abortionists to assassinate their child in their own womb.

At this point, one can rightfully say that, during this wicked procedure, the women’s womb becomes the execution chamber for the slaughtering of innocent and defenceless human life.

Only women make use of this atrocious and evil practice.

I remind the writers of the above-mentioned article that about half of all births are girls and, if they are not assassinated before they are born, they would become women in about 12 years. To make this possible, their life must be protected from conception.

This is one of the main reasons why those truly against violence should be against abortion. Of course, all men and women were a fertilised ovum.

Among all EU member states, only Maltese laws protect human life in all circumstances from conception. Any honest and truthful person would understand that human life, both before and after birth, could never be considered as two separate subjects.

As much as I am against violence on human life after birth, I am also against violence on human life before birth, that is from the moment of conception.

Are all those who participated in the writing of the June 14 article against violence from moment of conception?
