I love living in Sliema. I live in the old part of Sliema where I can find everything around me. However, I feel like Sliema and other towns are losing their character. We are losing the beautiful houses and there are cranes everywhere. A few days ago I was going to a lesson and as the cars were passing all I could see was dust. If all of Malta’s towns continue like this I would feel really bad for everyone in the future.

When I come home from school I can’t take my old route anymore because of all the trucks going in and out of a building site. There is also litter everywhere. People who smoke don’t even throw their cigarettes away in bins.

All this is making me quite sad. I hope that everyone reading this can spread this message around and maybe a small change can happen.
