Good morning, the following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers.

Times of Malta reports that Malta may lose €179 million in funding in the forthcoming EU Budget. It also reports that the government will raise the fines for littering.

The Malta Independent features a picture of yesterday's shooting in Belgium. It says the Planning Authority will decide tomorrow on two fuel station applications, including a controversial one in Luqa. It also reports on recommendations made at a conference against corporal punishment. 

MaltaToday says 'Muscat's man' James Piscopo, who currently heads Transport Malta, will take over the Lands Authority. It also says three people who made hate comments against the police on Facebook are still awaiting bail.

In-Nazzjon leads with comments by Adrian Delia where he again spoke on his vision of a caring society.  It also reports that the PN has asked the regulator to investigate abuses in electricity billing. 

l-orizzont quotes an economist saying there is no property bubble. The newspaper also says Mater Dei Hospital patients will get cereal with less sugar content.
