Bayern Munich’s disastrous pre-season continued with a 2-0 defeat to Napoli, with the home fans at the Allianz Arena booing their team off the pitch at full time.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side came into the match on the back of a dismal result and performance against Liverpool the night before. The second string team couldn’t do much better, as their Serie A opponents ran out comfortable winners.
Kalidou Koulibaly scored the opener for Napoli, making the most of slack Bayern defending to thumb home a finish from close range. Emanuel Giaccherini added a second after the break, with the Bavarians once again suspect at the back.
