Christmas in Mellieha

This year is the fourth edition of the Christmas in Mellieha activity, which has become a much anticipated part of the annual calendar.
Undoubtedly the Christmas in Mellieha activity reaches entire families, and each day is different from the other. Thus, those who attend will a variety of exhibitions, Christmas food and plenty of entertainment, with The Pink Floyd Tribute Band as special guests.

Christmas in Mellieha 2011 starts on Saturday, December 17 and goes on every day until Saturday, December 24. The official opening will be in George Borg Olivier Street with Disney character attractions parading for the young, and the young at heart.

The religious element will also be present - visitors will be able to enjoy demonstrations of cribs and a traditional Christmas procession. Other attractions include daily live concerts on the main stage, daily kids Christmas fun park, trackless train, live crib, crib and craft shows, food and drink and dance shows by international artists United World College of the Adriatic. World War II shelters will also be open for viewing for the general public.

The Mellieha Local Council invites all Maltese and Gozitan families, friends and tourist to attend this annual event.
