Plans are well underway for next year’s Cottesloe exhibition in Perth, Western Australia.

Featuring over 70 sculptures by artists from across the world set on beautiful Cottesloe beach overlooking the Indian Ocean, the exhibition is a great excuse to visit the area if you have not been before.

Cottesloe Beach is Perth’s most popular and it has some of the best sunsets of any major city in the world.

March is a great time to visit as it is almost always really warm and the ocean is a great place to take a dip.

A show spokesman said: “We are really pleased with how the event is coming together and over the coming months we will let the public know some of the exhibition highlights.

“They include a smaller than usual work by renowned Chinese sculptor Chen Wen Ling whose large piece Red Memory Smile was the most popular sculpture at this year’s show, receiving both the people’s choice and NAB Kids’ Choice prizes.”

The exhibition will feature new works by leading West Australian sculptors Lou Lambert, Ron Gomboc and Tony Jones OAM as well as highly-regarded younger artists Paul Caporn, Alessandra Rossi and Jean-Marc Rivalland.

Only this month, crowds wandered the coastal walkway during the 15th annual Sculpture By The Sea exhibition held in Sydney.

Record crowds viewed the works by over 100 artists from around the world displayed along the sandstone cliffs between Tamarama and Bondi Beach.
