The investiture of the Knights of St Peter and St Paul recently took place in Nadur. The Grand Master of the Confraternity, Peter Paul Portelli, started the ceremony by elevating the Nadur branch to Grand Priory.

The Grand Master spoke about his birthplace – Nadur – and said it always had a special place in his heart. He then thanked the council for providing the town hall for the investiture.

The candidates – Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono, Maria Natoli, Michael Camilleri Cauchi and Adonai Camilleri Cauchi, Andrew Muscat, Carmel Saliba and Charlie Borg, of Fontana, who lives in Melbourne – were also presented with a medal and a certificate.

The ceremony was also attended by Joseph Zerafa and Andrew Muscat Pisani.
