I read with interest The Times letters pages and have done so since the first week it went online.
I visit the islands with family as often as possible. We love the place and the local people.
The worst complaints from UK tourists seem to be concerning timeshare salespeople. This is getting worse each time we visit and has got to a stage that many people will never return to Malta for a holiday break. That includes my family and friends. It is not acceptable any longer and must be stopped or your tourism will continue to suffer.
The blatant aggression and nasty, sometimes violent "in your face" attempts to sell timeshare are a disgrace and embarrassment.
People will only take so much. Deal with it now.
