The Junior News desk is currently swapping its computer for a PC. Imagine arriving for the school bus and being told that now you have to drive yourself to school without knowing how to drive, which way to take and what to do when the engine breaks down! However, we will get there!

If you are a competition winner...

If your name appeared as a winner last week and appears from this week, please be patient and wait for you letter. The system that held all the letters no longer exists and a new one has to be set up.

We will send letters again as soon as possible. Meanwhile, please do not phone, write or e-mail saying you have not received a letter. We will announce when normal service has been resumed.

For schools

We hope you will point out to your teachers at least two of this week's features. They are the one about kites, because there is a terrific school outing opportunity here, also our Young Writer feature, which can inspire lots of you to go for it if you have a talent for writing, or any other talent!
