From Michela Micallef, 11, of Sliema
Dear Junior News, there's a magazine I like called Tracy Beaker And Her Bike. It's about her life and her basketball hike. It's a colourful magazine, with interesting things to do and recipes to cook. I am going to keep them all my life to read them to my child.

It's always nice when people recommend something they have enjoyed, Michela, whether it's a book or a film or a magazine. We hope your letter will prompt other readers to tell us about something they enjoy too. And anyone who has ever read a magazine, that their parents or grandparents had when they were children, will know how interesting and sometimes funny they are today. So you are right to keep your issues. And you've won an €11.65 voucher for sending this week's star letter. Well done.

From Elenya Saliba, 12, of Attard
Dear Junior News, I am Elenya Saliba. I am 12. I live in Attard. I am going to tell you about San Valentino. San Valentino is celebrated on February 14. It is celebrated everywhere around the world.

On that day a husband or a wife buys something special, like a flower, a rose, or a soft toy or something else like jewellery, as a gift of the love between them. Sometimes they go out for a special dinner.

I hope you enjoyed reading this. Yours truly, Elenya.

We did enjoy your letter Elenya, because we hardly ever receive any contributions about St Valentine's Day and this year we have had several. Perhaps more people are remembering that it's always nice to show someone you care about them. And your letter is just in time to remind anyone who still hasn't realised what day it is tomorrow! And here is your picture to make a lovely Valentine's card.

From Nicole Vassallo, 10, of Attard
Dear Junior News, thank you for everything you print that my brother and I write. So, can we put our contributions in the same envelope? Thank you.

And thank you too for your contributions, Nicole. This is one of our shortest letters ever but is important because of your question. The answer is yes. All contributions and competition entries from everyone in the family, and classes in schools, can go in the same envelope. In fact it saves time, paper and money which is always a good thing. All we ask is that every item has your name, age and address on the back, because there are separate files for different contributions.

• The sender of the star letter each week will receive an €11.65 to exchange and a VIP 10 per cent discount card for all toys at Toyland for a whole year!

• Send your letters, together with your full name, age and address to Junior News.
