Jennifer Maistre, eight, of Swieqi
Dear Junior News, on Easter Sunday we always have lots of fun. We have a traditional Austrian Easter hunt. The Easter bunny hides our Easter nest somewhere in the garden. And he leaves pictures and letters in hiding places, with hints where to find it. We are always very excited. I help my younger brothers because they can't read yet.

In the nest there will be coloured eggs and a small toy and, of course, a big chocolate Easter bunny.

This is such a lovely custom, Jennifer. And although your letter arrived after our Easter issue had been printed, we liked it so much that we're printing it this week, together with your happy Easter bunny picture. We're sure lots of people will want to have their own Easter nest hunt next year. And you've won a Lm5 voucher and VIP Toyland's discount card for sending this week's star letter. Well done!

Erica Micallef Filletti, 11, of Swatar
Dear Junior News, thank you for publishing my poem Easter Eggs in April 4 issue. May I start sending you my poems more often? I might send in stories too, I am pretty good when it comes to writing, if I may say so myself, and I would like to 'show' it by sending them to Junior News. Is my other poem, I Am..., going to be published in your paper?

I noticed that under my poem you inserted a picture by Luigi Muscat Filletti, he is my cousin, you probably had noticed that he has something to do with me from "Filletti".

I have never sent anything to the Junior News, this was my first one. Thank you.

About the competitions, may I send the answers via e-mail or should I send them in one lot with my cousin's? I personally think it would be much faster via e-mail. Thanks once more.

We are very glad you enjoyed seeing your poem in Junior News, Erica and no, to be honest, we didn't notice that Luigi could be your cousin. His picture seemed to illustrate your poem very well and, as we use as many contributions as possible we got this happy coincidence. Your letter also brings up two important points. Firstly, you are always welcome to send contributions on whatever subject you like. Secondly, e-mail entries are OK but we really like handwritten entries better, because that's how we can tell that they really are the work of the person contributing! And yes, your poem will appear in a future issue.

• Send your letters, together with your full name, age and address to Junior News.

• The sender of the star letter wins a Lm5 voucher to exchange for toys plus a VIP 10 per cent discount card for all toys, from Toyland in Mosta.
