Members of the Yes for Spring Hunting campaign donated blood today, saying they opted for this initiative since they were not interested in a campaign of insolence resulting from repartee.

Prejudgment, spokeswoman Sylvana Zarb Darmanin said, would not hinder hunters’ determination to lead a positive campaign built on facts.

Hunters did not want a campaign where the debate was no longer about birds but an attack on people. They did not want to create hate and division but the No campaign was unfortunately working to create stigma and instil fear in the Maltese.
