Three interns have joined Where's Everybody? for eight weeks as part of the EU programme Leonardo da Vinci.

Ambra Lazzari, Laura Benedetti and Sylvia Elena Melis, all aged 25, have been in Malta since May. Through the Leonardo programme, they were assigned to a tutor, who, in turn, found them an internship with a company, in this case, Where's Everybody?

While at Where's Everybody?, all three have been assigned different tasks, mainly having to do with post-production, such as logging, editing, and graphic design of different programmes produced by the company.

"Notwithstanding the limitations that Maltese programmes have, they are better than Italian television," Ms Lazzari was quoted as saying. She said the Maltese focus more on quality, adding that Maltese discussion programmes do their utmost to steer away from the banal, unlike so-called discussion programmes in Italy
