A 26-year-old woman has been conditionally discharged for two years after she admitted to falsely reporting a hold-up on November 18, 2006.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano heard how Dona Hadhri from St Paul's Bay had made a false report about a hold-up where she had allegedly been held at knife point and being robbed of cash and some silver items that she had been carrying. Ms Hadri later admitted to making the false report.

Police Inspector Paul Bond Prosecuted.
