A concert by local band Winter Moods has been postponed to Friday from Wednesday after another concert by tenor Joseph Calleja was pushed to Thursday.

While apologising for the inconvenience, Organisers NNG Promotions said they had taken the decision because of logistical challenges raised by the postponement of the tenor's concert. Both concerts will be held at the Granaries in Floriana.

NNG said the Winter Moods concert required a massive operation involving hundreds of man hours to cater for a massive crowd expected to surpass the record-breaking paying attendance of 2008.

The decision was taken "to ensure that the concert is not compromised in any way and that the thousands of Winter Moods fans attending the event will get to enjoy it to the full".

The eagerly awaited Joseph Calleja, Dione Warwick and Riccardo Cocciante concert was postponed to Thursday from last Saturday because of strong winds forecast for the weekend.
