The fifth meeting from the winter championship at Badger Karting was held on Sunday at Ta' Qali. The event had a format of a Grand Prix... all participants were randomly divided into three groups and each of them took part in three qualifying heats. Points were awarded to each driver according to their best lap times. The top 10 qualified for the final race.

Jacob Borg was in fine form and took maximum points for the evening, recording the fastest lap in all three heats and then going on to win the final. Adam Bugeja did well during the heats and qualified second on the grid for the final but a slow puncture midway through the race meant he could not challenge for top spot. He should be commended though for good handling to finish fifth. Karl Cilia was as consistent as ever to finish second while Zack Zammit was third.
