Valley Road near the VAT offices in Birkirkara will be closed tomorrow for resurfacing.

This section of the road was damaged in the storm two weeks ago and needed to be rebuilt.

Transport Malta said the road will be closed from 9 am tomorrow.

Traffic from Birkirkara  will be diverted to Triq Fleur-de-Lys and Psaila Street or to St Roque Street and Birkirkara Bypass.

Traffic from the lower part of Valley Road, Msida, will be  diverted to the slip road near Pantalesco towards the roundabout  Psaila Street or the slip road to Regional Road (Vella Falzon bathrooms).

Access to the showrooms located along Valley Road will be permitted up to Falzon Service Station.

Buses Nos 43 and 44 from Valletta will be diverted to the slip road near Pantalesco  towards the roundabout junction at Psaila Street and will commute via Psaila Street,  Fleur-de-lys Road and Valley Road.

Buses destined for Valletta will be diverted to Fleur-de-lys and Psaila Street and the link road between Psaila Street and Valley Road.

Route Bus 41 from Valletta will commute through Msida/Misraħ il-Menqa, the Birkirkara Bypass up to the Vodafone roundabout junction and  Naxxar Road. Buses destined for Valletta will be diverted to the B’Kara Bypass. Route X3 Buses departing from the Marsa Park and Ride Facility will travel  along the Mrieħel Bypass (B’Kara will be omitted). Buses destined for the Marsa Park and Ride Facility will also commute along the Mrieħel Bypass.
