Let the rains of autumn do the work and perhaps clean the Birkirkara/ Msida valley from anything one can imagine, but maybe not rats, because they can swim. The valley is dirty and needs a clean-up, especially the landscape on both sides of the border.

I envy the Birkirkara side because at least they have two bus shelters. We had one in Msida but it was removed to make way for a commercial building and was never replaced.

I suppose Msida council do realise that we residents need a bus shelter to protect us from the sun and the rain, so please put it back. If one needs to make an investment the valley is an ideal place to install speed cameras (both local councils please note) because some vehicles are driven at speeds exceeding 100 km/h sometimes, especially late in the evenings.

But to add insult to injury, we residents do not even have the luxury of a pedestrian crossing. We are not asking for traffic lights or a footbridge in case of floods, because maybe both are expensive, but simply a pedestrian crossing.

I hope these important points are noted.
