People in Ħamrun have another place to sit and relax now that a garden was inaugurated by Parliamentary Secretary Chris Said. The garden, named after tenor Oreste Kirkop who had starred in the 1956 Hollywood movie The Vagabond King, cost €100,000 to refurbish. It is among 21 embellishment projects in 17 towns and villages expected to be completed in the coming months, to the tune of almost €1 million.
