Two Malta-flagged passenger ships were involved in two separate minor incidents in Greece, the Malta Maritime Authority (MMA) said yesterday. The MMA's Merchant Shipping Directorate is looking into the mishaps.

In one incident, the mv Easycruiseone is reported to have sustained minor damage to a hull plating while berthed in Aegina. The other incident in-volved the mv Zenith which, on proceeding to her berth in Piraeus, made contact with another berthed vessel. The Zenith sustained minor damage to the hull while the other ship had its lifeboat davits damaged, the MMA said.

There were no injuries and no threat to the marine environment in both cases.
