Trading activity during this morning’s session on the Borza slumped to a new 2014 low with just under €20,000 worth of shares changing hands across three equities.

The share price of GO plc advanced by 1.2% to €2.035 across four deals totalling 6,500 shares. On the other hand, the equity RS2 Software plc retreated by 1.1% back to the €2.689 level on just 2,000 shares.

Meanwhile, the only other active equity, Lombard Bank Malta plc, ended the session unchanged at the €1.46 level on a single deal of 878 shares.

Overall, the MSE Share Index edged minimally higher to 3,351.535 points.

On the bond market, the Rizzo Farrugia MGS Index rose for the tenth time during the past twelve sessions with a further 0.1% increase to 1,048.927 points as the Central Bank of Malta raised its bid prices for the medium and long-term stocks although Eurozone yields were relatively unchanged at the 1.33% level. On the secondary market, the recently issued 4.3% MGS 2033 bond advanced to 103.75%, representing an increase of 300 bp from the recent offer price of 100.75%.
