Congratulations to the students of the Institute of Tourism Studies for their well-deserved awards.

In 1965 we did not have these opportunities but we feel proud that we laid the groundwork. We used to borrow cutlery, furniture and equipment from five-star hotels to be able to do our finals. Thanks are due to the Msida Catering School for their dedication, time and patience, and also some of the chefs that worked in the Casino and the Hilton in those days.

To the students of today, keep it up and let’s see your efforts on our tables with food, wine and service.

My motto was and still is “customer care and satisfaction”.
