The Sunday Times of Malta splashes with 'public land for private gain', highlighting an exposé of a deal whereby a company has been granted public land in Gozo to build garages and warehouses and sell them privately. 

The newspaper also gives prominence to a report that police are investigating a work permit 'racket', as well as news that doctors may strike over the hospitals deal. 

The Malta Independent on Sunday leads with news that the government official under investigation for corruption had been asking for bribes related to social housing for months.

The newspaper also reports that a former employee of the Malta Gaming Authority is seeking whistleblower status, citing alleged irregularities at the regulatory body. 

Malta Today reports that Vitals were forced to sell their hospitals concession deal after Allianz and Deutsche Bank refused to extend it major lines of credit. 

Il-Mument leads with 'Muscat's government continues to ignore doctors and nurses' in relation to the hospitals concession deal. 

The newspaper also reports on the seven-year-old child who died earlier this week, saying that the government had failed to issue a care order for the child and her siblings despite repeated warnings by social workers and doctors at Mater Dei.

It-Torċa writes that plans for 24 hour shelters are afoot, to help people trapped in vicious cycles of poverty and deprivation. 

Illum reports that  Jordanian investors Sadeen are convinced that the Żonqor Point campus project will proceed as planned, despite widespread objections. 

Kulħadd writes that Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia's decision to appoint Jesmar Baldacchino as the party's director of information has angered party activists, with the party also deciding to replace head of news Fabian Demicoli.
