BRIMMER. On January 23, ALFRED of Ħamrun, residing in Raleigh, North Carolina, US, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife Doris, née Borg and children Michael and his wife Roni, Rita and her husband James, Carmen and her husband Ron, and all grandchildren, his sister Mary and her husband Emanuel Falzon, Rose, widow of Vincent Falzon, and their families, relatives and friends. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said on February 4 at 12.15pm at St Julian’s parish church. Always in our heart dear Alfred. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
BROWN. On January 26, GEORGE HENRY (sive Gustav), passed away. In ever loving memory of a dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Will always be fondly remembered by his wife Tessie, his daughter Ruth and her husband Alberto, his son Jason, grandchildren Kimberley, Jade, Mary Grace and Alexandra, great- granddaughter Niah, his siblings and their families, other relatives and friends. Mass will be held tomorrow, Monday, January 29, at 2pm at the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CARDONA GILMAN. On January 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, Anna residing in Naxxar but late of Lija, widow of Michael, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Marthese and her husband Carmel, Georgette and her partner Joseph, Mignonne, Michelle and her husband Julian, wider family and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, January 30, at 8am for Lija parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by burial at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal life.
MICALLEF. On January 26, JOSEPH of Sliema, (ex-Victor’s Jewellery) aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved children Carmen and her husband Ralph Bottone, Philip and his wife Margie, Evelyn (Sue) and her husband Mario Portelli, Maryanne and her husband Joseph Vella, his 10 grandchildren and respective spouses and his 11 great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, January 29. at 1.30pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Caritas will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eteral rest.
MIFSUD. On January 25, RONALD, (Mifsud Bros Ltd) aged 80, passed away peacefully to eternal life, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Mariapia née Borg Cherubino, his sons Ivan and his partner Sonia Oussaid, Mark and his wife Samantha née Turner, Matthew and his wife Amanda née Cauchi, his brothers Norman and his wife Anna née Pace, Derek and his wife Maria née Sansone, his sister- in-law Anna Orr née Borg Cherubino, his grandchildren Michela, Annabel, Beatrice, Brooke, Luke and Sofia-Pia, relatives and friends. The funeral cortége leaves The Hilltop, Naxxar, on Tuesday, January 30, at 9.30am for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10am followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
