Anthony M. Camilleri (Congestion In Sliema, February 24) should consider himself lucky for only having to drive up Locker Street and down St Anthony Street and consequently getting a “good dose of exhaust fumes” in the process. We residents of Locker Street in Tigné are at present living our lives constantly choked by exhaust fumes and deafened by the unbearable noise of heavy traffic going through our purely residential street.

I join Mr Camilleri in congratulating our jolly Minister George Pullicino for the “smooth flowing traffic arrangement” and for the hazardous state of health and unbearable quality of life Tigné residents are being subjected to.
