The Theology Students' Association at the University over the past two days raised €4,200 for charity during events on campus centred on selling orange juice to the students and staff.

The campaign, called 'Make my house a home' raised the funds for the Preventive Care Unit. The unit helps needy households have a proper environment for their children.

Some of the money was raised during basketball tournaments organised by the Malta University Sports Club and by listeners of RTK Radio.

The students squeezed some 250kg of oranges and also sold a variety of cakes and sweets donated by a number of confectioners.
