The St Julian’s Choral Group, in collaboration with the Symphony Orchestra of the European School of Brussels, is tonight holding a concert of classic and sacred music in St Julian’s.
The Symphony Orchestra of the European School Brussels I (EEB1) was founded in 1976. It brings together an eclectic and dynamic group of young musicians aged 10 to 19 from all over the EU.
The orchestra’s main objectives are to give students the opportunity to make music of a high standard in a genuine orchestra setting and to encourage an appreciation of classical music.
The aim is also to have fun and to teach children about the benefits of working and playing as a group, with an emphasis on inclusion and mutual respect.
The orchestra presents several concerts each year, including a Christmas concert, a spring concert and an end of year concert.
The concert will take place this evening at St Julian’s parish church at 7pm. Entrance to the concert is free.
