With reference to John Guillaumier’s letter ‘Christian persecution complex’ (February 6), seeing that he dives so deep into controversy, it is enough to quote the Daily Mail of May 2, 2015, which reported that 100,000 Christians are killed every year. Four months later, it was reported that a Christian is killed every five minutes, which makes for a total of 105,120 yearly.
This was revealed by the Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch Gregory III who had said: “I do not understand why the world does not raise its voice against such acts of brutality.”
Who would not agree?
