A Texas woman had been convicted of murdering her boyfriend with a stilletto heel.
It took a jury less than two hours to find Ana Trujillo guilty of stabbed her boyfriend two dozen times in the face and head with the 5 1/2 inch spiked heel in a drunken altercation last June.
Trujillo, 45, claimed she was acting in self defence against university professor Stefan Anderson.
Prosecutors had said Trujillo had a history of unprovoked violence.
She faces a possible life sentence.
