Tarxien Rainbows will again be banking on Brazilian flair for the new Premier League season after making official their foreign line-up, yesterday.

Last season, the Rainbows, inspired by the scoring prowess of Denni Dos Santos and Ribeiro and the strong defending of Everton Pereira, all Brazilian, secured a berth in the Championship Pool and reached the semi-finals of the FA Trophy and National League 100 Anniversary Cup.

Denni and Ribeiro both sought pastures new this summer but Pereira stayed put. The Rainbows made sure Pereira won't feel isolated and snapped up the services of three other Brazilian players.

Strikers Ricardo Mion Varella Costa and Christiano Dos Santos Rodrigues and Sergio Pacheco de Oliveira, a midfielder, have all agreed to join the Rainbows to team up with fellow countryman Pereira.

Costa, 28, is a former team-mate of Pereira at Brazilian club Corinthia Paulista and enjoyed spells in South Korea, Switzerland and Greece before opting to return home in the last part of the 2009/10 season.

De Oliveira and Rodrigues played for several years in Holland. During this spell they won the Division One title with NAC Breda before moving to Roda.

In the last three years, De Oliveira played in Ukraine with Metalurh Donetsk and Turkey's Sivasspor while Rodrigues moved to Willem II before travelling to Australia to play for Adelaide United.
