Three men were given suspended sentences this morning after admitting before a magistrate to causing public disturbances.

In the first case, Christopher Milton 29 and Kevin Buttigieg 33, both of Hamrun, admitted to causing a disturbance, resisting police orders and offending public morals during the Hamrun-Valletta match last Saturday. They also admitted causing damage at Ta'Qali stadium. In the second case, Charles Cirillo, 56 of Hamrun, admitted causing damage to the St Joseph Band Club and the PN club in Hamrun.

In both cases the court handed down a six month jail term suspended for two years.Milton and Buttigieg were also banned from going to Ta' Qali stadium for six months..
