Sean Grima, 27 of Santa Lucija, was jailed for a month and forfeited a €2,000 bail guarantee today after he admitted before Magistrate Anthony Vella to having threatened a woman, unlawfully used electronic means of communication  and ignored a court order issued on November 16 when he was granted bail in another case on condition that he does not contact the woman.

Mr Grima also lost his bail.

In another case, a Sicilian man, Mario Campolo, was placed on probation after admitting to having threatened a man in Zabbar early yesterday and having been in possession of a knife. He was also warned not to approach the victim for a year.
