Mourinho: Jose Mourinho has eased the pressure on his Chelsea side ahead of today's clash with Liverpool by saying that his players will return to London as heroes even if they fail to reach the Champions League final. "I think the pressure is on Liverpool," Mourinho said. "We will go back to London as heroes whatever this result because we have won the championship. If they lose at Anfield they will have nothing."

VOGTS: Former Germany coach Berti Vogts has ruled out returning to the national team as technical director after the German FA (DFB) refused to make a quick decision on the appointment. "The DFB's timing does not fit with mine," Vogts said. National coach Juergen Klinsmann had called for Vogts to be appointed immediately but the DFB said it would wait until after next month's Confederations Cup before creating the post.

Schuster: Bernd Schuster blamed the breakdown in the personal relationship between himself and Levante president Pedro Villarroel as the reason for his sacking as coach on Sunday. "I know I am a person many people like to criticise, and that I sometimes rub people up the wrong way, but I have never experienced anything as personal as this," he said. "The atmosphere was very difficult and the rift between the club and the coach was too wide."

Wolfsburg: Andres d'Aless-andro and Juan Carlos Mens-eguez were left out of the VfL Wolfsburg squad for Sunday's game against Hamburg SV over concerns that a food supplement taken by the players might have resulted in positive drugs tests. The two Argentine players took the unnamed supplement without the knowledge of club doctors. The composition of the supplement was unknown, the statement added.

Teplice trail by 18 points with five matches left after Sparta won 2-0 at Olomouc on Saturday but had to wait for yesterday's result to be sure of their 33rd league title.
