Paris St Germain president Francis Graille has been dismissed by the club's board and replaced by Pierre Blayau, the club's main shareholder announced yesterday.

"Canal Plus group has put an end to Francis Graille's office at the head of PSG," Canal Plus said in a statement.

Canal Plus said Graille had been replaced by Pierre Blayau, whose major goal was to prepare for next season. Blayau was Stade Rennes' president from 1998 to 2000.

Graille, who had been at the club for the past two years, has failed to convince Canal Plus he is the man for the job. PSG lost €31,000,000 last year, twice as much as in 2003.

Ricksen struck by coin

Rangers' Dutch international Fernando Ricksen was hit on the head by a coin for the second time this year during Sunday's 3-1 Scottish Premier League win at Aberdeen.

Ricksen was also struck by a coin during the 2-0 win over Celtic on February 20. Both times he was lining up for a corner.

"This has to stop," he told reporters. "Just before I took the corner I got a coin in the head again. I would say to people 'just don't do it, you are ruining a beautiful game'."

Gronkjaer out with foot injury

Atletico Madrid midfielder Jesper Gronkjaer will be sidelined for up to three weeks after cracking a bone in his right foot, the Primera Liga side said.

The 27-year-old Denmark international, who joined Atletico from Birmingham City for a reported fee of two million euros last December, sustained the injury during his side's 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

The winger will miss the return leg of Atletico's King's Cup semi-final against Osasuna and is doubtful for their Primera Liga clash against Real Madrid on the weekend of May 21-22.

Norway ref for PSV-Milan semi

Norway's Terje Hauge will referee the Champions League semi-final second leg match between PSV Eindhoven and Milan in Eindhoven tomorrow.

In a statement yesterday the European governing body UEFA said the assistant referees would be Steinar Holvik and Hermann Borgan, also from Norway.

Dunfermline sack manager Hay

Dunfermline Athletic, who are bottom of the Scottish Premier League, sacked manager David Hay yesterday.

"There is no animosity, it just happened," former Scotland international Hay told Reuters. "I have only been here a season but it shows you the twists and turns in football."

Dunfermline also dismissed assistant manager Billy Kirkwood. Coach Paul Hegarty has been asked to act as caretaker for the relegation clash with Dundee on Saturday.

Hay took over last June after Jimmy Calderwood had left to manage Premier League rivals Aberdeen.
