Sexual harassment: Faria Alam, the former secretary suing the English FA over alleged sexual harassment, unfair dismissal and breach of contract, told an employment tribunal yesterday she had been sexually harassed by the association's executive director. "During my time at the FA I was sexually harassed by David Davies," she told the tribunal. Alam, 39, had an affair with both England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson and the FA's chief executive Mark Palios. Palios resigned in mid-2004 after the affairs became public. Alam resigned from the association shortly after Palios.

Cosmi quits: Serse Cosmi has resigned as coach of Genoa just 10 days after winning promotion to Serie A. Genoa won the Serie B title to end their 10 year exile in Serie B with a 3-2 win over Venezia on the final day of the campaign. Cosmi's decision had been expected and he has been linked with the vacant position at Udinese. Former Palermo coach Francesco Guidolin has been tipped strongly by Italian media to replace Cosmi at Genoa.

Ajax: AZ Alkmaar's Martin van Geel will become technical director at Ajax Amsterdam from July, filling a vacancy left by Louis van Gaal who quit in October to coach AZ. "I've had a wonderful time at AZ but it is a terrific challenge to work at Ajax as technical director," Van Geel said in an Ajax statement. "I often said I did not want to leave because I liked it a lot in Alkmaar but I don't want let this chance go," he added. Ajax finished runners-up in the Dutch first division last season 10 points behind champions PSV Eindhoven.

Porto: Porto have signed Brazilian teenage Anderson Oliveira on a three-year contract, the Portuguese Premier League club said on Monday. The 17-year-old midfielder is joining last season's runners-up after scoring five goals this year with Brazilian club Gremio Porto Alegre. Porto, who appointed Dutchman Co Adriaanse as their new coach last month, are looking for reinforcements after the departure of midfielders Maniche and Costinha to Dynamo Moscow.

West Ham: Promoted Premier League side West Ham United have re-signed Czech defender Tomas Repka on a two-year deal, the daily Sport reported yesterday. The paper quoted Repka's agent Ondrej Chovanec as saying the terms of the deal were "considerably less" than when Repka joined West Ham from Fiorentina in September 2001, when the London club paid five million pounds ($9.09 million) for the player.

Lyon: Defender Sylvain Monsoreau has joined Olympique Lyon from Ligue 1 rivals Sochaux, the French champions said yesterday. The 24-year-old signed a four-year deal for a transfer fee of five million euros ($6 million). Lyon's only major signing since they won their fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title last month is France midfielder Benoit Pedretti, who joined from Olympique Marseille on Friday.
