I am to believe that animals are not equal on this sacred rock of ours.

On September 19, a friend of mine, Noel, a horse enthusiast, required the assistance of a vet for one of his beloved horses. He was advised to call emergency. To his amazement he was informed that the vet on duty was meant for chosen animals, such as dogs and cats.

He tried to contact the animal rescue unit, which one admits, is doing a good job, but he was informed that under these circumstances there wasn’t much they could do. The last option was to take the unlucky, friendly animal to the public abattoir to be put to sleep, which eventually he did. How unfortunate!

The poor animal is fast asleep while his friend, Noel, cannot get over it as he’s hardly getting any sleep at all.
