Students interested in proceeding on an Erasmus mobility period during the next academic year can now apply during this month. The Socrates-Erasmus Programme offers University students the possibility of following a study period (ranging between three and 12 months) in one of the 250 partner universities with which the University of Malta has signed a bilateral agreement.

During their study period abroad, students will receive a grant from the European Union to set off most of the costs incurred. The academic credits followed abroad will then be transferred locally as an integral part of the student's degree programme.

Further information can be obtained from the European Unit, 105, Administration Building, tel. 2340-2204, e-mail annhelica.scerri@um.edu.mt, Website: www.euunit.um.edu.mt/home.html.
