Malta is one of the few countries in the world where mobile phone users can send MMS photographs as postcards. This innovation for MMS cell phone users is a result of an agreement between Maltapost and Go Mobile, and provides more options to customers.

All that Go Mobile MMS users have to do is send their photos, together with message and address details, to Go Mobile number 5740 - and Maltapost will do the rest. This service offers users an easy and convenient way to send an MMS to someone who doesn't have an MMS-capable phone. This new service is open to all Go Mobile customers who have subscribed to Go Live! and each postcard sent costs 30 cents.

"This service is very new but catching on quickly, as it is extremely attractive to MMS users", Michael Stewart, senior manager, Marketing and Business Development, said.

He added that "Maltapost is always looking for new and innovative ways to link the physical world of mail to the electronic world. The MMS to postcard service is another example of Maltapost bridging the two worlds. We have chosen to launch this service in time for Christmas, and we are sure the timing will contribute even more to its success."
