The Malta Financial Services Authority is to hold a training seminar on corporate responsibilities issues in relation to the insurance industry at its Mrieħel premises on April 8 and 9.

Organised in collaboration with the Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Supervisors, the event is aimed at insurance supervisors who are actively involved in the regulation and supervision of the industry and to directors, prospective directors and compliance officers of insurance and reinsurance firms.

Participants will hear about general governance requirements, risk management issues, internal control systems and general risk aspects related to governance to further enhance preparation for Solvency II.
