Computime Ltd has become a supplier of Netegrity products, inculding SiteMinder, the world's best-selling security software for e-government and e-business Websites.

According to the Gartner Report, Netegrity is the leader in this market.

In the e-government sector, SiteMinder is used, among others, by the US Department of Defence and US Internal Revenue Service, various UK councils and police forces and the French Gendarmerie Nationale.

Netegrity SiteMinder securely manages user access to different Websites from a central platform. This, Computime said, makes management and deployment less complex, and enables companies or governments to greatly reduce their administrative costs.

The software enables data from a variety of local or external sources to be evaluated in real time. It can also support any number of users and security policies, as well as a wide breadth of autentication methods.

It can be configured to work in scenarios with multiple autentication levels and can be operated and integrated with many other products because it adheres to various international standards, Computime said.

The firm's marketing manager Neil Bianco said: "We are very pleased to be able to offer such advanced software on the local market. It is a tool to give any e-business or e-government undertaking a solid security famework."
