Marsascala council and the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST) are organising a mini science and technology festival in St Anne Garden, Marsascala on Sunday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The festival's main objective is to create an informal path to learning science by portraying the concept that science in itself can be fun and entertaining.

MCST is calling upon private organisations to take part in the festival by showcasing work which deals with science and technology.

The key philosophy behind the festival is inquiry-based learning, therefore it is essential that participating organisations make use of an element of interactivity, be it through product prototypes for visitors to engage with, demonstrations of concepts or products, talks and so on.

Those interested are asked to e-mail martina.castillo@gov.mt or rachael.blackburn@gov.mt in order to register by providing the name of the organisation and a short description of the company remit, the name of the contact person nominated by the organisation and contact details, and the theme of content to be exhibited and a brief description of the type of stand or exhibit to be presented.
