Through its recent campaign 'Niġri Biex Ngħin... Għinni Ħabib' (I run to help... Help me friend), St Theresa Junior Lyceum, Mrieħel, collected €9,434 (Lm4,050) for Caritas (Malta), the Richmond Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the school's benevolent fund.

The campaign, which was held for the 17th consecutive year, started with the students collecting money from the public and ended with a symbolic two km fun run held last month in which 850 students took part from the Mrieħel and other schools, including Sir Adrian Dingli Junior Lyceum, Pembroke, St Aloysius' College, Birkirkara, San Andrea School, L-Imselliet, Lily of the Valley Secondary School, Mosta, and Sliema Boys' Secondary.
