I presume that the reason you publish the "Saints of the Day" every week day is that we can give thanks to Almighty God for their life and Christian witness. Too often I have no idea as to who they were or what they did.

Would it be possible to make room somewhere on that same page for a very brief explanation of where they lived and when and what they did?

Today, April 22, I can find a St Alexander, Bishop of Alexandria from 313, but his feast day in the west is February 26 although perhaps by coincidence it is today in the Coptic Church. As for St Episodius I can find no mention anywhere.

I am sure that I am not alone in wishing to know more.
