So, as everyone knows by now, Michael Bolton's concert on Saturday started 90 minutes later than the advertised time on the ticket. There were no announcements made by the promoters in the meantime and we all had to sit in the most uncomfortable chairs in the world while waiting and waiting and waiting.

They could have at least got on the microphone and told everyone that it was going to be delayed by an "x" number of minutes until the problem was resolved. After his first song, Michael Bolton apologised for the late start saying there was a power outage! Power outage?! While we were waiting supposedly during this "power outage", we had all the lights on, music on, smoke machine in the background of the set never stopped etc.

One would assume that if there were a power outage and it was running off a generator you would maybe dim the lights, stop the useless smoke machine and stop the background music too, right?

How about the promoters giving us the real lowdown on why we had to wait 90 minutes? That'd be nice. And, oh yeah, can someone at the MFCC please make a new order for different chairs that don't kill your back? Standing up for half the show was more pleasant than sitting down.
