Every morning, drivers are stuck in traffic for a very long time to get from the Zabbar, Marsascala and Fgura areas to Marsa.
The journey should take a few minutes but it takes longer, mostly because of negligent drivers who do not obey traffic signs. One street that is closed off to traffic between 6.30 . and 8.30 a.m. - Palm Street leading to Cemetery Hill - is always busy with drivers who ignore the signs.
Also, at the entrance to the cemetery there is a sign prohibiting U-turns that is completely ignored. During rush hour, there are only two policemen: one stands near Ta' Sarè roundabout and the other stays in the vicinity of One studios.
Can someone please help us out with more supervision in these areas?
