Paul Camilleri, an assistant lecturer at the Junior College, is conducting research on seahorses around the Maltese archipelago with the help of all divers - both Maltese and foreigners who dive in Maltese waters, especially from April till November.

The research has an international flavour because five universities are contributing to this important ecological research. These are the University of Malta, the University of Bologna (collaboration agreement signed), the University of London, the University of Columbia in Canada and the University of Tasmania in Australia. Another one, the University of Southampton, will be joining shortly.

Anyone interested in helping can contact Paul Camilleri on 2121-7158 or e-mail: paul.m.camilleri@um.edu.mt.
