Amateur video posted on the internet purported to show a large explosion, said to be the result of a barrel bombing, in Darya near Damascus last Monday.

Further online video appeared to show an injured child and injured people in the Douma neighbourhood of Damascus after the area was said to be hit by Russian airstrikes on the same day.

A third video appears to show Syrian rescue teams helping survivors and loading them into vehicles on stretchers after cluster bombs were said to have hit Douma.

Members of the Syrian Civil Defence, a rescue service operating in rebel areas, collected the wounded.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors the conflict with a network of sources on the ground, said in October that Russia's air strike campaign in Syria has killed 370 people, one third of them civilians, since it started three weeks ago.
